Sichuanese Boiled Fish, the name does not do this dish justice. This was a favorite of the dishes ordered for lunch. It was surprisingly mild but the sauce/broth was delicously rich and the fish and cabbage were tender but held together.

The Fried Dumplings were pretty good. As was the case with the rest of the meal, they were fairly tame in terms of flavors. The dough was done right. I would order them again. Especially at $5 for 20 of them. Yes, I did count them.

The Cheng-Du Noodles were kind of a throw in at the last moment. Maybe we thought we needed more food when we were ordering? I don't know, but if that was the case we were wrong. The noodles were fine. They would have been good at extinguishing any fires the peppers brought to the party. Unfortunately, there was no need for that. The menu said they came with peanut sauce as well has spicy sauce. In short - Overly peanutted up.

The Dried Cooked Chicken with Green Beans was somewhat a disappointment. The beans? Perfectly cooked and delicious. The chicken? Lacking. In fact, all I really remember eating were the crunchy batter pieces from the frying process. I think there was chicken in there, but cannot prove it with any photo evidence. As with the other dishes, this one lacked in the spice department until you ate the last few pieces at the bottom that had been sitting there for a while. Oh, and you had to add chili sauce to that as well. The beans were good though!
